This post has NOT been accepted by the mailing list yet. Hi Everyone, Thank you for your time in advance. I am a ESRI user and am developing a webmap. The purpose is for users to use select box and download the data in the datagrid. I have studied the following posts and was told my internet server is Linux my server coworker told me we prefer Linux and may not want to download mono. Could everyone provide your valuable information if you have used EnhancedGrid for users to download the data?
My web application is here http: Inside the script, I still use the combination of datagrid and C.
Экспорт datagrid dojo в файл csv
Please let me know how I modify this script by the EnhancedGrid. We tried to use the dgrid and enhancedgrid but then we switched over to Gridx.

We haven’t tried to export data from the grid but that is on our schedule to implement. I don’t know anything about C coding on linux but isn’t Mono required for C development on linux???

But I would imagine that you will need to add that functionality at the server side. I don’t believe there is a way for JS to hook into the clientside zip program in order to get it zipped.
Maybe there is but I am not sure. But I am a little confused as to why you want the data zipped at the client side? The data in the grid is already at the client side. Unless you have a massive amount of data, why zip from the grid?
Why not just have the user download the CSV file, then they can zip it manually if they wish? Hi karozans Thank you for these valuable information. I wonder if you could share your code for me me about the export to CSV file not zipped file.
My website is listed here http: Could you please tell me how to have the users download the CSV file either by datagrid or enhencedGrid in my script? My team actually hasn’t implemented the export data yet, but there is a code example for gridx online already. Go to this website.
